Too many of our commercial and multi-family zoned neighborhoods are home to vacant storefronts, half empty office buildings and aged and decaying apartment buildings. In a rapidly advancing age of building and energy efficiency, adaptive reuse of existing structures, and infill developments, Mike believes we must not settle for anything less than robust commercial corridors which are walkable, teem with successful businesses and provide abundant housing, at all income levels, in currently underutilized buildings and vacant lots.
