Rebuild. Now.
Mike’s experience over the last decade as a City Planning Commissioner and as an attorney working in housing gives him firsthand experience in how difficult the process can be to build housing in our District. He also experienced how difficult it is for individuals to afford to buy or remain in their homes. We must streamline the process to create new housing at all price levels and create incentives to encourage the development of housing to support working- and middle-class neighbors. This will help ensure that essential members of the community—teachers, public servants, law enforcement, local business owners, and their employees—can live in the communities in which they work.
