Renew. Now.
Mike knows all too well that many parts of our District and California are deteriorating. Los Angeles and many of its surrounding communities are aging and require renewal, similar to New York City in the 1990s. From sidewalks to streets to alleys to public spaces, too little of the State’s budget has been allocated toward making the necessary improvements that impact daily quality of life. By leveraging both private development and public funds, aging infrastructure can be repaired and replaced with sustainable and enduring improvements, ensuring that parks are usable, sidewalks are walkable, and streets are drivable for both cars and bicycles alike.
