As a lawyer and small business owner, with 25 years of experience, Mike has seen just how much business owners in our District, and the state, have suffered over the past two years. That’s why Mike supports measures to retain and bring business back to the District. Mike will embed a permanent small business liaison in his office to help businesses grow — be it through obtaining SBA loans, promoting the development of our tech and aerospace industries, or encouraging policies to return media, art, entertainment, music, and event production to the District. With the Olympics on the horizon, Mike believes that we have a tremendous opportunity to harness international support for local businesses. He supports the creation of good paying jobs through economic development zones and will work to create a business, sports, and entertainment corridor throughout the District.
